  • What is a postpartum doula?

    From body feeding/bottle feeding to swaddling and bathing postpartum doulas are an educator in your home to help cope after welcoming a new member into your family. Postpartum doulas also provide support in the upkeep of your home while you focus on healing, resting and adjusting to your new routine.

  • What does a postpartum doula do?

    • small household chores such as dishes and light organization

    • baby laundry

    • prepare small meals and snacks for you and your family

    • provide care support for other small children in your family

    • allow time for parents to shower, rest and heal

    • educate on soothing techniques, diapering and body feeding/bottle feeding

  • What does a postpartum doula not do?

    • insist on parenting in one style or method

    • heavy household cleaning and laundry

    • take over care of baby or other small children

    • judge any safe parenting choice you make

    • evaluate medical conditions or provide medical advice

  • Do you provide discounts on your rates?

    If you are in a financial situation that does not allow you to pay my full rates I am more than happy to discuss other options or assist you in finding you the support you need.
